But then, which models of the iPhones X, 8 and 8 Plus will be approved by Anatel? [atualizado]

Every year the same thing: as soon as new iPhones are presented, the question remains: which model does Apple send to Brazil in order to be approved by National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel)?

The exact answer, we will only know when the documents paint on Anatel's system, but, as always, nothing stops us from analyzing the information that Apple provides and trying to find out. To do this, simply enter this page and decipher the message.

iPhones X, 8 Plus and 8

And the truth is that, at least this time, there is not much mystery. That's because, for iPhones 8/8 Plus, Apple basically followed the same pattern as iPhones 7/7 Plus.

Thus, everything indicates that the models to be sold here are the A1905 (iPhone 8) and A1897 (iPhone 8 Plus). In the United States, these models are compatible with the networks of AT&T and T-Mobile. So, if you are planning to travel to Uncle Sam's Land, you already know which iPhone to choose if you visit an Apple Store.

Where's the iPhone X ?!

As the iPhone X only started to be sold at the end of October (more specifically on 10/27, in pre-order, reaching the market on 11/3), Apple probably preferred not to put this information now on its website and update the page later, next to the launch of the device.

Still, it has everything to follow that same logic as iPhones 8/8 Plus. We'll see.

We found iPhone X! 😝

The smartphone's connectivity information is on the smartphone's spec page. L, we clearly have only two models listed, the A1865 and the A1901. As the A1901 does not support CDMA networks (in the United States, used by operators Verizon and Sprint), it will most likely be the model approved here in Brazil.
