According to businessman Jason Wilk, Apple representatives made some visits to a private hospital located in Los Angeles in order to present a tablet to the institution's medical staff. Such visits were carried out over the past six weeks and probably served the company to identify potential corporate uses for the new product, in addition to those that the media already tired of talking about.
If the speculation is true, Apple is very concerned with spreading its new device to various types of consumers, meeting the needs of very specific areas of work. In the case of hospitals, the new tablet would come to compete with some existing solutions, but which are very expensive and have a very low level of usability.
