We are accustomed to following, from month to month, videos captured by drones that show the progress of the Apple Campus 2, in Cupertino (California, United States). This time, quite different.

THE SkyIMD captured about 380 (!) aerial images of 100 (yes, one hundred) megapixels each, using a Phase One iXU / iXU-RS 1000 camera, which together in Photoshop formed a gigantic photo of 34,111 × 49,487 pixels (that is, 1.7 jigpixel).

To capture all of this, the guys used a Cessna 172 flying for about 30 minutes, on December 22, at an altitude of 2,000 ps (about 600m). Originally, all captured images totaled 4.76GB of weight.

Too much, n? 😃
