Action taken by the Ministry of Economy / Special Secretariat for Social Security and Labor tends to make it easier to hire workers.
The world is increasingly connected and cloud-based, providing facilities and services for our daily lives, now also coming to the Work and Social Security Card (CTPS).
From this Tuesday (24), the Federal Government published Ordinance No. 1.065, with the rules for the issuance of the Digital Work Portfolio, which will be equivalent to the old paper Work Portfolio, which is still valid. All Brazilians and foreigners registered as Individuals (who have the CPF) will have access to the Digital Work Card. To do so, you can access this link and register to access your Digital Workbook. 
According to the standard, you will no longer need to present the CTPS to the employer, simply inform your CPF and the registration process will be done digitally. Notes made by the employer in the Digital Work Portfolio are equivalent to those provided in the CLT. For companies that already use eSocial's digital bookkeeping system, simply ask the employee's CPF number, which would already be equivalent to CTPS presentation. Physical CTPS (that little blue) is still valid normally, in cases where the employer is not required to use eSocial.
Thus bringing ease to both the employee and the employer, reducing the bureaucracy involved at the time of hiring.
