Brazilian social music application, SoundShare reaches its third generation totally renewed

The last time we talked about SoundShare here on the site it's just over two years old, and that was exactly the opening sentence of that last post, that is, if there is one thing we can trust, in the capacity of the Brazilian developer Matt Abras to bring great news to your application in a biennial period.

This time, the news is so profound that the SoundShare 3 it can basically be considered a totally new application.

Even though the interface is completely renewed, the basic premise of the app remains the same: to bring users a kind of social network based entirely on music or, more specifically, on the songs you are listening to at the moment. The application, by default, uses the iTunes Store search engine and plays the corresponding YouTube audio; you can, however, connect it to your Apple Music, Spotify or Deezer account so that the song source changes to your music platform streaming; the rest of the app's functionality remains the same.

In the case of Apple Music, the application also connects to the new MusicKit API to obtain all kinds of information from the platform and your account, including the “Para Voc” page, your recommendations and everything else.

You can always check out what your friends are listening to, discover new content via the most popular music screen of the moment and create playlists personal or collaborative, as it always has. The new version of SoundShare, however, brings some very good news: the main one is Party Mode, which allows you to connect your iPhone to a Bluetooth speaker or Apple TV and then invite your friends so they can add music queue and control playback, if you want everything from their device.

Other new features include SoundShare Direct, which is a kind of internal chat tool by which you can send music, artists, albums or playlists to your friends or groups and start a conversation; Stealth Mode, in turn, is a simple way to temporarily turn off any music sharing, which is great in case you’re listening to “No Ter” by Sandy & Junior multiple times a day in full 2017. my case.

The new version of SoundShare, which also offers an application for iMessage, is available for free on the App Store. It is very worthwhile to check out not only to honor genuinely Brazilian productions that have won the world at Ma's app store, but also because it is a pastime for fun.
