The compact camera's optimized sensors promise to deliver more reliable HDR images and quality in low-light photos. The model's external controls provide quick access to essential functions, which are shown on the camera's 5 "touch display. Images are recorded on standard SD / UHS-II or C.Fast 2.0 cards in RAW and ProRes at up to 120 frames per second.

Pocket Cinema Camera 4K the cheapest model ever presented for 4K RAW recording

Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K connections include an MFT lens mount, integrated microphones, miniXLR input, full size HDMI, 3D LUT support, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio connector and USB-C expansion port.

The new camera was built using carbon fiber instead of metal, as was the previous model, which makes it lighter, according to Blackmagic Design. The Pocket Cinema Camera 4K was announced on the manufacturer's website worth $ 1,349, but not yet available for purchase, at least here in Brazil. This value makes it the cheapest camera so far that it can record in 4K RAW, according to Engadget.
