Black Friday has 230 complaints per hour; complaints exceed previous years | E-commerce

It is difficult to spend Black Friday without any problems with discount shopping and this year is no different. The ReclameAQUI portal recorded 4,058 complaints left by consumers between 11am on Wednesday (21) and 4pm on Friday (23). Misleading advertising and price makeup were the reasons most cited in the complaints, representing 16.1% of the cases. Meanwhile, the ranking of most claimed products and services led by cell phones (11%), TVs (5.6%) and airline tickets (4.8%).

Another fact that draws attention to the monitoring of the volume of claims this afternoon. The period was busy: users made an average of 230 complaints per hour. There was an increase in relation to the dawn, considered "rush hour" of complaints. From 0h 1h, for example, the site had 126 records.

According to the complaints website, it is still necessary to wait for the official end of Black Friday for a general balance, but it can already be said that the 2018 edition had an increase in disputes compared to the previous year.

Last year, during the 24 hours of Black Driday's day deals, there were 3,500 complaints on the site. On Black Friday 2016, Reclame Aqui received 2.9 thousand and, in 2015, the number reached 4.4 thousand complaints.
