In addition, during the event, some criminals set up storefronts with very cheap products and payments by bank slip or bank transfer only. According to a study by Konduto, during Black Friday 2018, the product segments with the highest fraud attempt rates were Electronics (11.21%), Home / Decor (2.89%), Sports / Entertainment (2 , 80%), Autopeas (1.93%) and Tourism (1.89%). The survey also showed that 1.43% of purchases made between 22 (Thursday) and 25 November (Sunday) last year were made with cloned credit cards.
