Good news for those who use the messenger Whatsapp – that is, everyone. ?
As the WABetaInfo, a new beta version of the application being tested (version 22.214.171.124, while the current / public version is 2.19.121) will bring a good dose of compatibility with iOS 13 as it will be the first to be compiled using the new system’s SDK. In practice, this means that the messenger will support many native features of the thirteenth version of Apple’s mobile OS.
Want examples? THE menu Haptic Touch (long press on the screen that replaced 3D Touch) when touching a conversation has been slightly modified, as well as there are new interface elements from iOS 13.
THE Dark Mode Incredibly it hasn’t shown up yet, but when a user shares the location and has the mode turned on, the map goes dark. In addition, when sharing an image from your library on WhatsApp, if you are using Dark Mode you can already see that the app is in fact preparing for the news, with the sharing page following the theme.
THE widget (available on the “Today” screen) already appears in Dark Mode, if you use the phone’s appearance like this – which is another indication that WhatsApp Dark Mode itself is close to being released.
And back to the subject sharing, here we have a great news: when you are going to share anything using the native iOS feature, now your conversations (whether individual or in groups) will appear there, on the first line, making things a lot easier – competitor Telegram, it is worth noting, won this feature a few weeks ago.
If the Data Saver Mode iOS 13 is enabled (it is in Settings »Cellular» Cellular Data Options), WhatsApp stops automatically downloading media files (images, videos, GIFs and audio messages) if you are not on a Wi-Fi connection – bypassing the messenger’s own settings, if you have chosen to download all these contents operator’s network.
Good news, isn’t it? Let this version be made available soon to the general public!
