Best of the Year TechTudo 2019: delivery app

THE TechTudo will promote, for the first time, an award to highlight the best phones, apps, games and electronics on the market in 2019. Among the applications, there will be seven categories, including delivery apps, music, travel, security, mobility, digital banking and the highlight in the year. The TechTudo 2019 Best of the Year award takes place in December, and the evaluation will be made by a select group of technology experts, who will be based on some criteria, according to the category in question.

Delivery apps seek to make life easier for users, allowing orders to be made simply and quickly and making food reach you with a few taps on the smartphone screen. Options for Android and iPhone (iOS) bring different functions to users and, to choose the best of the year, our technology experts will follow the following criteria:

  1. User feedbackUser reviews of apps, including reviews on Google Play Store and App Store.
  2. Number of downloadsNumber of times the apps have been downloaded from the official Android and iPhone (iOS) stores.
  3. Available regionsNumber of locations where the program is available, offering the service to more or less users.
  4. Innovation / user solutionsFunctions that stand out in each app, as competitive differentials between them. What can each offer useful in addition to its original proposal.
  5. Service channelHow users are served. If it is efficient, quick, it solves problems.

There are three finalists for the delivery application category. See below for a little bit about each of the candidates.

  • iFoodAvailable in cities in all states of the country, iFood is a Brazilian food delivery app for Android and iPhone (iOS), founded in 2011.
  • RappiRappi proposes to be an app for delivery of everything, including restaurants that do not have delivery and products that are not food. Can be downloaded for Android and iPhone (iOS).
  • Uber EatsUber Eats is a food delivery app for Android and iPhone (iOS), which can work in conjunction with Uber because it is from the same company. It is available in cities around the world.

The Best of the Year TechTudo 2019 will feature a select team of technology experts, who will choose the highlights in the most varied categories. In apps, reviewers will be:
