Until the end of June, the Best bank allows its customers free access to the bank’s website, through Portugal Telecom’s Wi-Fi service. The initiative results from a partnership between the two companies and allows Best customers to access the bank’s services, which are based on their entire offer on the Internet, through the network wireless available in various public places.
It should be recalled that PT Wi-Fi’s network currently has 600 hotspots that spread throughout the country, located mainly in cafes, hotels, airports, shopping centers, congress centers. Outside Portugal, the operator also maintains roaming with foreign operators who, in the case of a partnership with Best, guarantee bank customers access to services online in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
The partnership established between PT Wi-Fi and Best is the first of its kind and the bank makes no mention of the possibility of being extended to other Wi-Fi network operators. However, the PT group company maintains other agreements that facilitate access to your wireless broadband network in different areas.
