The C and E series of the BenQ digital camera range have been extended with a total of five new models, the manufacturer announced.
Some of the additions include additional features such as large LCD touchscreen, handwriting function and PASM mode (manual or automatic use of the camera) and their prices vary between 109 and 299 euros.
With a resolution of 6 megapixels and 3x optical zoom, the BenQ DC C60 digital camera has a 2-inch color LCD-LPTS screen, equipped with the PASM mode, thus providing simple access to the program, opening source (diaphragm) and manual.
The price for this model is 299 euros.
The second new element in the BenQ C range, the DC C51 digital camera comes equipped with 5 megapixels of resolution, 3x optical zoom and a two-inch color LCD-LPTS screen.
With a maximum resolution of up to 8 megapixels per interpolation, the DC C51 also has a simple «Easy-Dial» interface and a wide variety of capture speeds ranging from 1/2000 to six seconds, the manufacturer points out in a statement.
The E series knows the remaining three new models.
The BenQ DC E53 and E43 offer a set of more practical features, among which a larger screen (2.5 inches) stands out.
The machines will be sold at 249 and 299 euros respectively.
The E53 model has a 5 megapixel CCD sensor while the E43 has 4.
LTPS technology is used for these TFT screens, which translates into considerable energy savings compared to other models on the market, according to BenQ.
The DC E30 is an ultra-thin camera, measuring 24 mm in width, its size compared to that of a credit card.
The model has a resolution of 3 megapixels and CMOS sensor (up to 6 megapixels per interpolation), costing 109 euros.
