Earlier today we showed a case concept from Belkin, but now we bring a real product from Belkin, which is being demonstrated for the first time at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) 2011.
This is the Express Dock, equipped with Thunderbolt technology.
The product basically brings the same connections offered by the Apple Thunderbolt Display, only without the screen. There are three USB ports, a FireWire 800, a Thunderbolt (for daisy chain connections) and a Gigabit Ethernet.
From the look of the product, the idea is that it be positioned on top of the base of Apple iMacs / monitors, without changing the look of the set too much, but it is also very cute.
The manufacturer has not yet specified when the Express Dock hits the market or how much it costs.
