Belkin announces its new Thunderbolt 3 Express Dock HD

Over three years ago, we posted a review of the Thunderbolt Express Dock from Belkin. For the manufacturer is now back with an updated version of the product.

O Thunderbolt 3 Express Dock HD It is not yet available for purchase, but is already on the Belkin website. As its name implies, it is equipped with the third generation Thunderbolt interface thus reaching speeds of up to 40Gbps in data transfer.

With a single Thunderbolt 3 cable connected to one of the new MacBooks Pro, for example, the Dock offers a Gigabit Ethernet port, a rear audio output and a front output / input, three USB-A 3.0 ports (one on front), two Thunderbolt 3 ports (non-USB-C standard, of course, capable of supporting up to two 4K monitors) and one DisplayPort. It can also be plugged in and power the computer itself, offering a power of 85W.

The product has not yet had its price revealed (only as a base, the previous model with the Thunderbolt 2 interface sells for $ 300), but it already seems to me a No-brainer for those who buy one of the new MacBooks Pro and don't want to rely on numerous adapters /dongles. Arrived home / work, connected the machine to this "station", and ready.
