Be Okay is a free app for Android and iPhone (iOS) phones that helps people with anxiety attacks and panic attacks calm down. The app features relaxing background music and allows you to set breathing timers, import comfortable photos and set up a shortcut for quick connection in an emergency. You can also record your crises on your own calendar.

In the following tutorial, learn how to set up and use the Be Okay app to always have it in times of crisis. The procedure was performed on a Moto G7 Play with Android 9.0 (Pie), but the tips also apply to the version of the application for the Apple system.

Step 1. Open the Be Okay app and tap the button in the upper left corner of the screen to configure the app. From there you can change the background sound, select a speed dial number and customize the breath times;

Step 2. To access the calendar and record a crisis, tap "Records." Press the "+" button in the upper right corner of the screen and add the desired details such as duration, location and symptoms;

Step 3. Returning to Be Okay's main screen, tap the button in the upper right corner to access your personal comfort zone. Tap "+" to import photos that make you happy;

Step 4. Select the desired images and press "Done" at the bottom right. Whenever necessary, access your comfort zone to view the photos you have chosen and calm down;

Step 5. To control your breathing, press "start" and follow the breath and breathe instructions that appear on the screen. If you need help at any time, tap the phone icon to call the emergency contact set up in the first step.
