The BBM app for iOS won an update yesterday with a good news: possibility to receive messages also in iPods and iPads, without the need for a phone number. This type of facility until then was characteristic of iMessage, not followed by other popular competitors, such as WhatsApp.
The format of the app is not adapted to the large screen of the iPad, but it is still possible to run it enlarged. The news is very interesting, becoming a multiplatform messenger that really adds value. It is free and can be downloaded from the App Store.
