BBC joins Mobile TV

BBC joins Mobile TV

The BBC is testing the live streaming of some channels on mobile phones. According to the British group, the Mobile TV offer will include programs from BBC One, BBC Four, CBeebies and BBC News and will be extended to radio stations, all through streaming over WiFi.

According to the BBC, users will not have to install any kind of application to access the broadcasts, they will only have to pay the television license, a fee of £ 142.5 paid for each home where there is a TV set.

The channel’s objectives are also to extend services to new channels and broadcasts over 3G networks. From outside, there is the broadcasting of sporting events and international programs.
