Banco do Brasil application will be reformulated in January

Blog do iPhone

Bank of Brazil

Attention customers Bank of Brazil. After a long wait, the iPhone and iPad app will get a new update, completely redesigned. The iPhone Blog had access to the beta version and we can confirm: it is looking beautiful. ?

The app seems to have been redone from scratch, completely adapted to the new look of iOS 8 (even ready for iPhone 6 screens). One of the most anticipated things will be the inclusion of the Touch ID, which saves the user from entering the password every time they check their account. Just place your finger on the iPhone’s sensor and the app is ready to use.

The look of both the iPhone and the iPad no longer look like an adapted website, but rather a native app remade especially for iOS. The design flat dominates, with the most important information highlighted, for easy access. Future releases are also seen on the first screen, which is very practical (click on the images to enlarge them).

BB Version for iPad

Another very cool feature, which until now we only saw in the Banco do Brasil app (if you know another one that does this, let us know), is the import of bank slips received by email. To do this, just touch the attachment received in Mail and ask to open it through the BB application, that the payment is scheduled without having to type anything. This benefit has been around for some time and will continue in the next version (attention to other banks, this function is very cool).

Congratulations to the Banco do Brasil team of developers, who are doing a great job with their new application. Customers have long deserved this attention and we believe they will be very happy with the news. After all, nowadays more and more we carry out banking activities by cell phone, and the more facilities and benefits the applications have, the better.

We do not yet know the right release date for the new version, but it is scheduled for January 2015.
