Avid Technology announced last Friday the launch of Pro Tools | HD Native, the newest generation of the multimedia interface – now with Thunderbolt.
The set consists of not only the HD Native interface with Thunderbolt, but also a PCIe card, the Pro Tools HD software and the Pro Tools HD Series interface, allowing users to compose, record, edit and mix songs and sounds with great agility and ease.
According to Avid, the solution is the one that offers “the highest performance and lowest latency” in the market, compared to others based on DAW (digital audio workstation, or digital audio workstation).
Pro Tools | HD Native will be marketed in two packages, ranging from $ 5,000 to $ 6,000.
