Available on the American App Store, Uptime is the first Google incubator app

Last year, Google announced that it would open an internal incubator program, so that new startups born within the company. This program was called Area 120 and now its first application, the Uptime.

Sorry, app not found.

This app is basically a social network focused on YouTube videos, focused on interaction between users. With it, you have your followers and you can follow others, share videos and watch them in real time with your friends.

When you touch a video to view it, you will see your avatar moving in the progress bar, as well as seeing other avatars (who are watching the same video). You can interact via chat, react with emojis, touch the screen so that stars appear, among other things. In addition, you receive daily recommendations from your friends and the people you follow.

Say “ol” to #Uptime! Share and watch videos together. Download now directly from the App Store http://goo.gl/getuptime. Use the invitation code: PIZZA.

For now, Uptime is only available on the American App Store and you need to use invitation codes that are being openly distributed through Twitter.

The application itself is basic, but, in the case of an incubator, we can certainly expect news from those who know until this form of interaction by video catches, we will see something in that sense in the official YouTube app itself
