Automotive sector with online access to arbitration centers

The Ministry of Justice has made Auto-adhesion available online, a service that allows the buyer and seller of a car to submit disputes that may result in the future of the transaction to a CASA (Arbitration Center of the Automotive Sector).

With the new service, accessible from the Automobile Online website, «conflicts that result from a common act of people’s lives – the purchase of a car – are allowed to be judged by an alternative means of conflict resolution that is more faster and cheaper than a judicial court «, says the Ministry of Justice in a statement.

Self-adhesion has been available since July 31 for car purchases and sales over the Internet, and is expected to be extended to conservatories later this year.
