aTV Flash (black) brings YouTube back to second generation Apple TVs

At the beginning of May, the cone of YouTube disappeared from second generation Apple TVs after an API update made by Google. Like the old product (it was released in September 2010), Apple was no longer concerned with updating it.

Today, however, FireCore released version 2.6 of its tool aTV Flash (black) for who does jailbreak on these second generation Apple TVs and the big news is the addition of a YouTube plugin.

The plugin already supports browsing for popular videos, as well as searching for videos, channels, users and playlists. However, FireCore says it is already working on other features that I will see in future updates.

ATV Flash (black) costs $ 30 and can only be installed on second generation Apple TVs with Apple TV Software 5.3 or higher. Anyone who used the solution before needed to reinstall it using a Mac or PC, but subsequent updates may be installed “over the air” as always according to FireCore.
