ASUS prepares to launch two iPad competitors later this year

In the face of research that already shows how much the tablet market is expected to burst in the coming years, ASUS is already preparing to place two new iPad competitors this year. In late 2007, she was one of the first to "confirm" that Apple would be working on a product of this type, and at the beginning of last year it launched its own interface for touchscreen computers.

In an interview given yesterday Forbes, CEO Jonney Shih has not confirmed a precise date, but has said that (at least) two tablets will come in the coming months. Although their exact technical specifications are not known, it is already confirmed that one will run Google's Android or Chrome OS, the other Microsoft Windows.

it is likely that at least one of ASUS 'new features will be revealed at Computex in June.
