The Portuguese Software Association signed a memorandum with the US Department of Commerce, through the Embassy in Portugal. The agreement aims to boost trade relations between the two countries.
Both parties pledge to work together to encourage the sharing of information between the United States and the main commercial and industrial associations in Portugal, details a press release.
The commercial section of the North American Embassy has the mission of providing advice to companies in that country, in this case on the Portuguese market and potential local partnerships, investment trends or business opportunities. It is present in 107 American cities and in more than 80 countries.
On the Portuguese side, the agreement also signed, COGEN Portugal – Portuguese Association for Energy Efficiency and Promotion of Cogeneration, the Portuguese Solar Energy Society (SPES), the Portuguese Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (APAVT) and the Commercial Association of Lisbon (ACL).
