Association of business analysts will have Portuguese version

The event that will officially mark the foundation of the International Institute of Business Analysts (IIBA) in Portugal is scheduled for September 24th. The association brings together professionals linked to the business analysis area worldwide, and aims to certify and create reference methodologies and performance standards for these professionals.

The IIBA also promotes the sharing of good practices and success stories at the international level. “The foundation of the IIBA Portugal Chapter will be a landmark in the national panorama of business management and analysis, given that even though this is a critical area, namely in the software life cycle, the professional profile that sustains it needs to be aligned with the demands of more mature markets ”considers Joel Luz, President IIBA Portugal.

The Portuguese chapter of the IIBA kicks off with the support of several companies, including IBM, Glint, BMW, Aventia, Hays IT and ADMKT.

“It is an association that aims to improve and boost the Business Analysis market and that will certainly bring added value to IT in Portugal, as well as access to several suppliers to certify their functions in this area”, refers to a statement sent to press.
