Anticipating the celebration of the Electronic Commerce Day, marked on the 24th of July, ACEPI – Association of Electronic Commerce and Interactive Advertising is promoting an initiative that aims to encourage companies to try online advertising.
The contest is aimed at companies that have not used this platform to advertise in the past two years and can apply for a free advertising day on the websites of Cofina, Controlinvest, Impresa, IOL, MSN, SAPO and of Sonaecom with 10 million impressions / views guaranteed, and a credit of 500 euros per campaign for advertising on Google during the 24th of July.
Applications can be submitted by media agencies and creative agencies to ACEPI, which recently joined the interactive advertising area.
The «Invitation to online advertising» initiative aims at companies to explore this medium to advertise their services and products, showing that there is a real return in campaigns.
Applications can be submitted until 22 July, with campaign ads formatted for M-Rec (300×250), or Leaderboard (728×90).
Remember that online advertising is one of the areas of strong growth internationally but also in Portugal, mainly due to the recognized impact in terms of attracting users and the possibility of directly measuring access through impressions and clicks on ads.
Despite the growth, the investment rate in this medium remains well below that of other platforms, such as television or the press.
