THE Asian TV It is taking the West in a way never seen before. Programs of all kinds journalistic, realities, game shows and dramas (like the famous Korean soap operas, the "doramas") are in fact becoming a subject among us and attracting attention from more people. How to access all this content, however? Fortunately, the app Viki exists and is now available on the Apple TV app.
Talking a bit about the app itself, Viki (available for iPhones, iPads and Apple TVs) is a service of streaming with various options for plans and full focus on Asian TV. Here we have dramas, movies and variety shows from countries like Korea, Japan, Taiwan and more all with subtitles in over 200 languages made available by the users and fans themselves.
The app offers filters of categories, countries, genres and subtitles; each program page has synopsis, ratings, episode / season breakdown (when applicable), and a list of related options. The screen of each show has a section of comments and discussions, so that fans of Asian TV do not feel alone in their passion; Your profile page finally has a live history, and you can follow your favorite shows to let Viki let you know when new episodes become available.
Viki is available for free on the App Store and has three plans available for in-app purchases: Viki Pass Basic ($ 3 monthly), with limited HD content selection without advertisements; the Viki Pass Standard (R $ 16 monthly), with larger catalog and early access to the platform's exclusive productions; and finally Viki Pass Plus (R $ 32 monthly), with full access to the entire service. There are annual payment options for reduced prices.
By signing any of the plans, the user can now enjoy the platform programming directly in the TV app along with content such as Globosat Play, FOX Brazil, Classix, Claro video, Red Bull TV, Garage and more. It is worth checking!
