Artifact – Valve launches teaser of new DOTA Card Game

Diolinux

It had been a long time since we had new game releases coming directly from Valve, the owner of the Steam platform, but today fans of the company (and apparently DOTA 2) had a good surprise with the teaser in Artifact, although not everyone agrees with that …

After a large hiatus in launches, it seems that in 2018 Valve will resume the launch of a title of its own production. The company’s games are idolized by many and are some of the most played in the world today, including competitive environments such as CS: GO and DOTA 2.

While many eagerly await a new “Left 4 Dead” or a new “Half Life”, Valve appears to be planning to launch a Card Game, as well as Konami and their classic “Yu-Gi-Oh!”.

We can see from the video that the game should follow the theme of DOTA, which automatically tends to remind us of “HearthStone”, from Blizzard, or even “GWENT”, from the universe of “The Witcher”.

We don’t have much information on what exactly the game will be like, all we have is a teaser which was launched by the company from what appears to be the game’s official YouTube channel.

Interestingly the video teaser in «Artifact”Is being highly negated by YouTube users, many complain that they would like a new game within the existing franchises instead of“ another card game ”. Anyway, the game is expected to be released in 2018, without further details.

Everything indicates that there will be support for Linux and Vulkan too, what did you think of Valve’s idea?

To the next!
