Sapo opens laboratory at the University of Aveiro

AR Telecom continues to expand its operations in Brazil, this time taking the JET brand to three new areas of the country in the regions of Maceió, João Pessoa and Natal. The zones now have the offer of JET TV and JET Internet Broadband services, the latter with digital MMDS technology.

The national company indicates that this operation is part of the expansion plans announced for the Brazilian territory, which until next year should take the brand to twelve areas of the country. The objective is for the said market to adopt «a new concept of brand and communication» based on the concepts of «modernity and agility».

Known as ACOM Comunicações, the JET brand is, according to Ar Telecom, the first digital wireless services company in Latin America to operate with MMDS Digital technology.

The investment plan of the national company in Brazil was budgeted at 25 million euros for this year. By the end of next year, Ar Telecom wants to bring its services to more than 10 million inhabitants.
