VLLO is an app to create videos available for free for Android and iPhone (iOS). The tool allows you to create short videos with sound, image or background color, text and animations. The ideal app for creating intro videos and vignettes for YouTube channels, for example.

In the following tutorial, learn how to make a vignette on your cell phone with VLLO. The procedure was performed on a Moto G7 Play with Android 9.0 (Pie), but the tips also apply to smartphones with the Apple system.

How to do intro by cell phone with VLLO

Step 1. Download and install the VLLO app on your phone. When I opened the app to do intro on the cell phone for the first time, select the option "great video" and tap on "Insert blank screen". Once this is done, tap on the arrow located in the upper right corner of the screen;

Step 2. Select the aspect ratio of the video, which is selected by default 16: 9 (YouTube), and the desired time. Then tap on the button in the upper right corner. Now, tap on "Background music" to add a sound to your intro;

Step 3. You can use free music from the VLLO library or select a file from your phone. Touch the desired sound and press the button in the lower right corner. Returning to the previous screen, it is possible to cut excerpts from the music by selecting the desired point and touching "Divided";

Step 4. Select the background music or a clipped section. Touch "Delete" to delete it or "Volume" to adjust the volume. Choose the desired volume and tap "Done" to apply;

Step 5. In "Fade" it is possible to add music related effects, such as fade in and fade out. Choose the desired options and press "Done";

Step 6. To add text, tap "Text" on the bottom bar and press "Text", left. Choose the desired option and tap on the button located in the lower right corner of the screen;

Step 7. Double-tap on the text to bring up the keyboard and edit it. You can use the pin gesture to increase or decrease the text size, move or rotate it. Use the white button indicated to choose the point on the video where the text should appear and disappear;

Step 8. In "Font", you can customize the font of your text. Finally, choose the desired font and press "Done" at the bottom of the screen;

Step 9. Touch "Animation" to insert animations to the text, such as fade in, disappear, increase or decrease the scale. After choosing the desired effects, tap "Done";

Step 10. Tap on the current background color of your video to change it. To do this, go to "Background" and choose the desired color. You can also use gradients, drawings, and blur background images. Make the desired adjustments and tap "Done";

Step 11. You can always use the play button to see the result of your edits. When finished, touch the export button in the upper right corner. Choose the resolution and number of frames for your video and press "Export". The content will be saved in the gallery of your mobile.
