For many Android users, personal contacts are synchronized directly with Google Contacts, which makes switching to nine digits a little more difficult.
To help with this task, developer Wesley de Souza decided to create an application that changes the number of cell phones in SĂŁo Paulo by automatically adding the prefix 9.
“The process is very transparent. It gains access via OAuth2, whose token is saved in a temporary session. Preserves DDD and operator, if any, and the user has full control of which numbers will be changed. Nextel numbers are ignored and nothing personal is saved on the server, just the number of contacts ”, said Souza.
