Apple's (not so) brilliant solution for those who want to use wired headsets and charge iPhone 7 at the same time: Dock Lightning

You can be sure that this story of removing the audio output on iPhone 7 will still give a lot, a lot of cloth to the sleeve. Just yesterday I mentioned that one of the main complaints from consumers would be the impossibility of using a wired headset and charging the device at the same time, considering that Apple did not grant the device the induction charging feature, which was even speculate.

Thinking about it, a reader of the 9to5Mac decided to send an email to Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide marketing and one of the biggest advocates for change. Zaheen Hafzer asked the executive how to charge the iPhone 7 and listen to music with a wired headset at the same time, and Schiller's response was good, to say the least, not so satisfying.

Hi Zaheen,

I enjoy listening to music on my AirPods while my iPhone 7 Plus is charging, because that way I can move around freely.

However, if you want to use wired headphones while charging an iPhone 7, you can do that too.

Apple's Lightning Dock includes an audio output to use wired headphones or speakers while charging.

Hope this helps.

Ok Phil. Surely there is no other scenario where you want to charge your new phone and listen to music with your good old headphones while not in the comfort of your desk that of course considering you already have the blessed Dock or not. mind spending doctors $ 380 on it.

If you're on public transportation and want to charge iPhone with an external battery? Ah, what a naivete of mine: no one is going to have this problem because no one on their conscience will leave an iPhone 7 on a bus or subway, right? Next one!

What if your car doesn't have a modern sound system and you want to charge iPhone into the 12V jack and use an auxiliary cable to connect it to the speakers? Well, in this case it's obviously time for you to buy a new car. With CarPlay. Or another cell phone that is not an iPhone, but who could want it anyway?

Well, the good part is that absolutely every aspect of the new iPhone leaked before the launch that accessory makers had months to prepare, think about what we need for the future, and announce these new products immediately after Apple's introduction.

THE Belkin He did just that by developing according to his own words "in conjunction with Apple," which certainly reflects the above paragraph a more elegant, smarter, and far less blatant solution than Schiller suggested.

Belkin Lightning Audio + Rockstar Charge

Lightning Audio + Charge Rockstar for iPhones 7 and 7 Plus is just what you expect: a simple Lightning port duplicator to satisfy the thirsty desire for wired music and electrical power at the same time. Either port is for charging iPhone or listening to music, either through the new Lightning EarPods (included in the iPhone 7/7 Plus case) or with your old earphones. Of course, in this case you will have to use too It is the adapter provided by Apple, which will surely be a terrific solution to complement the design of your beautiful glossy black iPhone 7.
