The news is rolling around at Apple this week in such a way that perhaps less notable ads can go unnoticed. Not for us, of course! ?
The Apple announced yesterday the expansion of AppleCare + in Macs for a number of other countries. The territories that have now received Apple’s “new” extended warranty plan are: China, Spain, Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan. They join countries that already had the service available for purchase (Germany, Saudi Arabia, Austria, Australia, Canada, United Arab Emirates, United States, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Netherlands, United Kingdom , Sweden and Switzerland).
With the novelty, residents and visitors from the countries listed above can purchase AppleCare + at Apple stores, physical or online, and take advantage of the plan that extends product warranty to three years and offers two accident repairs at reduced prices within the roof.
As we always remember, AppleCare + cannot be purchased in Brazil yet, but Apple does support devices covered by the service nationwide – only at its two official stores present in the country, however, and not at Authorized Service Centers.
Here, Apple sells only the old AppleCare extended warranty plan (without the «+»), which extends the coverage period to three years but does not offer both repairs for accidental damage at reduced prices. It costs between R $ 630 and R $ 2,200, depending on your model.
