We recently discussed the possibility of Apple launching this year a "IPhone 6c", but according to 9to5Mac this should not happen at the special event already confirmed for 9 September.
This does not mean, however, that Apple is not working on the device. According to sources on the website, it will have a 4-inch screen but it would not be ready for launch with the “iPhone 6s” and “iPhone 6s Plus”.
To 9to5Mac, along with the new two iPhones, Apple discontinued only the iPhone 5c and went on sale, therefore, the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, all of them falling in price. In the United States, the iPhone 5s with a minimum contract of two years will probably go out of grace.
It is worth remembering that, in some countries like Brazil, Apple sometimes takes a little longer to discontinue old models even to compensate for the absurd prices of new ones. This happened last year with the iPhone 4s, which was only discontinued last April.
