A lot of people think I don’t like Apple just because I use Linux as an operating system on a daily basis, but that’s not true, I like it it’s technology and I have Apple as one of the references in this segment, however, every time someone asks me what I think of the iPhone, the answer is almost always the same:
«- It’s not worth what it costs.»
It is a very good device without a doubt, but really it has a price well above the average, especially for the pocket of the Brazilian, it is very far from being a conventional item, becoming a luxury item. Apple knows that Brazil has the most expensive iPhone in the world and is considering changing some policies.
In fact, it is not only the Brazilian market that has complained about the prices of Apple products in general, not just iPhones, another market that arouses Apple’s interest that has the potential to grow is the Indian market, and there are also prices that are not not at all friendly, even though they are cheaper than in Brazil.
Second Business Insider, Apple’s sales decreased by 16% in the last quarter, it seems that the one who grabbed a little more of the market was Android. Tim Cook did not make it clear, but it is perfectly conceivable to assume that one of the reasons for this is the price, nowadays people are spending less on devices, as there are many models with intermediate prices and configurations good enough to meet the demand of the majority.

Apple has always sought the elite, the target audience has always been this one and the prices practiced were one of the barriers that divided this audience, however, with the Smartphone market stabilizing, it seems that Apple is feeling the competition taking the lead with simpler solutions , which meet what the average consumer wants, without having to spend a lot.
