Apple would be in last minute negotiations with AT&T and Verizon for its tablet

It seems to me a little strange and even irresponsible that Apple is still negotiating details with operators about the launch of a product that will take place in just five days, but what does FOXNews: AT&T and Verizon Wireless would be fighting to determine who will be Ma's partner in launching their tablet.

The question is not simple, as the technologies used by both are quite different. Therefore, Apple may have prepared two versions of its tablet: a GSM / HSPA (AT&T) and another CDMA / EVDO (Verizon), having not reached any final agreement with one of them, so far.

The presence of an 802.11n Wi-Fi chip is already taken for granted in the tablet, but everyone says that it, like the iPhone, would have been built to always be connected to the network. I only see this rumor as certain if, as it is speculated, the iSlate / iPad s hits the market even in a few months, which would give Apple some time to announce details such as prices and 3G data plans.

Although AT&T has been a longtime partner of Apple in the United States, recent rumors suggest that Verizon would have more priority for the tablet, including based on the possibility that the Cupertino firm has already closed a deal with Qualcomm.
