Apple will replace swollen or invalid Apple Watch 2 batteries for free

THE Apple will replace batteries for swollen or unplugged Apple Watch Series 2 devices for free. Action will come from a new service policy, according to the MacRumors.

Measure will happen in the US, Canada, Mexico and Europe

The company claims that some Apple Watch Series 2 devices may not turn on or have an expanded (swollen) battery and you go get those devices for free.

Only 42mm models will receive the free battery replacement, which includes Sport, Edition, Herms and Nike + variants. That is, the measurement does not apply to Series 1 or 3 models, or 38 mm models.

According to Apple's internal document recognized by SN4534, "Apple will authorize coverage of eligible devices for three years after the original purchase date."

The measure was established at Apple stores and resellers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Other countries have not yet been confirmed to make this free replacement, but it is speculated that it is a worldwide company initiative and could reach other countries soon.
