Apple will celebrate Earth Day with challenge for Apple Watch users for the second consecutive year

Just like last year, Apple will hold a new challenge for Apple Watch users focused on physical exercise, with the aim of celebrating the Earth's Day (Earth Day) celebrated on Sunday of next week (April 22).

In 2017, the challenge was to perform one of the following exercises for at least 30 minutes: walking, running, cycling, wheelchair or swimming. This year, the exercise time that must be fulfilled is the same, however, the user can choose any type of physical activity predefined in the watch.

Earth Day Challenge (Apple Watch)

The Earth Day challenge is one of the few offered worldwide by the company, since the majority is released only in the United States. This year, in addition to the challenge in question, another one was released in March in celebration of International Women's Day.

In addition to the merit given in support of Earth Day, Apple encourages users with collectible stickers (which can be used in iMessage) and medals (which are registered in the WatchOS Activity app).
