Apple Watch has a strong presence among luxury brands mentioned on social networks

Many people doubted the Apple to make a difference in the smartwatches segment, with its late arrival. For new research focused on social networks once again shows that her marketing strength is phenomenal.

Analyzing more than 700 million posts related to the luxury market, watches and ecommerce in more than 80 countries, from September 1, 2014 to August 31, 2015, the NetBase put the Apple Watch topping the category of watches as a whole beating established brands like Rolex, Tag Heuer, Richemont, Curren and Patek Phillippe. He, too, is the only smartwatch that has achieved a place in the survey ranking.

In the general ranking of NetBase, Apple appears in 4 place, the iPhone in 11 and the Apple Watch in 13; j the iPad, which was on the list last year, left the Top 15. First place now, stolen from Louis Vuitton, Chanel.
