Apple Watch app notifies user if they forget their iPhone somewhere

THE Look out It is not a new app on the App Store, but this week its version 4.3 arrived with a very nice new feature for Apple Watches users.

Lookout on iPhone and Apple Watch

With the app running on both iPhone and Apple Watch, when (and if) you are going to leave somewhere and forget your iPhone it will automatically alert you on the wrist just that the device loses the Bluetooth connection, usually from about 10 meters away distance. You can even see, on the watch screen, a graph indicating how far you are from the phone.

If the devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, even out of Bluetooth range, it is still possible to send commands from the Apple Watch to locate the iPhone asking, for example, that it emit an audible alert. And it works even if the device is in silent mode!

For those who didn't know, the Lookout solution goes beyond that and offers several security features, protection against theft, data backup and device management. Most of the functions are free, but some are restricted to your plan Premium (paid out). Worth checking out.
