Apple updates official WWDC app for iOS, watchOS and tvOS; unofficial macOS app also gets new version

Less than a week before the start of Worldwide Developers Conference 2017, Apple has just updated the official app for the event on the App Store.

As in previous years, it is a universal torque compatible with iOS (iPads and iPhones / iPods touch), watchOS (Apple Watches), tvOS (Apple TVs) and now also including stickers for iMessage.

Version 6.0 of the app offers the possibility for developers to watch playlists selected in highlighted themes, view interactive maps of the place, get different details about the event and still use it all in the app without having to be logged in.

As you can see in the image above, in the article, Apple maintained the tradition of putting fictitious names in the event's schedule while the news is not properly announced by there. There, even on the iPhone, there is even a joke in Portuguese: “The octopus wants to know what's new.” 😂

If you notice well, there is a big and important platform that is not covered in the official WWDC app: macOS. But, if Apple doesn't, there are those who do, and fortunately, in this case, Brazilian work!

Like the official, the WWDC for macOS it has also just been updated for this year's event!

Free of charge, the app was developed by our reader GuilhermeRambo and this year its cone was redesigned by Raphael “PH” Lopes, with an interface (all dark, this time) by the Spanish designer Vicente Borrell.

It serves not only to watch WWDC'17 sessions, but also from previous years. And other news will come soon, such as streaming via AirPlay and Chromecast, synchronization with iCloud and Touch Bar support for MacBooks Pro.
