The feature is still in beta, but Apple nevertheless failed to promote it in a commercial for iPhone 8 Plus released today.
This is the Portrait Lighting Mode, which leads to the device (and also to be on the iPhone X, of course) special “lighting” options within the Portrait Mode that we've known since last year, with the arrival of the iPhone 7 Plus.
Portrait Lighting Mode on iPhone 8 Plus allows you to create dramatic studio lighting effects in Portrait Mode.
