THE Apple TV +, new platform for streaming of Apple videos, is due to be launched soon and many suppliers are looking into partnerships to add the service to their list of options, among them the South Korean rival of the Cupertino giant, the Samsung.

According to information published by the TechRadar, Samsung announced during its conference at IFA 2019 that Apple TV + will be available on its Smart TVs, making the company the first brand to announce support for Apple’s thriving service.

The South Korean giant has not confirmed when Apple TV + will land on its big screens, but has talked about some very interesting features, including integrating the platform with Bixby, its virtual assistant. That way, users will be able to search for programs and movies by voice commands, in addition to being able to access them through the Smart Guide of this equipment.

It is worth remembering that Samsung was one of the first television manufacturers to add support for iTunes content, as well as AirPlay 2; therefore, it is likely that other manufacturers (such as LG and Vizio) will also announce support for Apple’s thriving platform – unless Samsung has secured an exclusive deal, which has not been confirmed.

In addition to Smart TVs, Apple TV + will also be available set-top boxes other manufacturers. In the end, all this support is more than welcome for Apple, after all, the more the service expands to other products, the greater the number of potential Apple TV + subscribers.
