It’s the Apple TV + continues full steam ahead! Recently, Apple’s original content platform released new videos related to three of its series – two of them still unpublished.
In addition, a new hiring has emerged for one of the series already announced. Shall we take a look at everything?
“Home Before Dark”
The first recent release was that of the first trailer for “Home Before Dark”, mystery drama series starring Brooklynn Prince (“Florida Project”). The series is based on the true story of Hilde Lysiak, a 9-year-old child reporter who decides to investigate an old, long-abandoned case.

In addition to Prince, “Home Before Dark” count with Jim Sturgess (“Across The Universe”) as Hilde’s father. The first season of the series will feature ten one-hour episodes, directed by Jon M. Chu (“Podres de Ricos”), and will premiere on the next 3 days – with a second season already confirmed soon. It sounds interesting, doesn’t it?
Another unprecedented series that had its first trailer released was the musical animation “Central Park”, which will arrive on Apple TV + on May 29.
Created by Loren Bouchard (“Bob’s Burgers”) and starring Josh Gad (“Frozen”), Kristen Bell (“The Good Place”), Stanley Tucci (“Um Olhar do Paraíso”) and Leslie Odom, Jr. (“Hamilton”), the series revolves around a family that lives and works in the famous urban park of New York that gives title to the production.
Apple produces the series in partnership with 20th Century Fox Television, and has already ordered two seasons of 13 episodes each. The idea was even to display a preview of “Central Park” at the SXSW festival, but that will not happen because Apple canceled its presence at the event – and the festival itself was subsequently canceled due to the Coronavirus outbreak in the world.
Meanwhile, one of the most beloved Apple TV + series to date, “Little America”, won a new featurette – this time, to highlight the episode “The Grand Prize Expo Winners”.
The video has testimonials from the actress Angela Lin, who plays the protagonist Ai, and the director Tze Chun, as well as several other people from the episode’s team and cast. All of this, of course, interspersed with scenes from the production. Check it out:

“Mr. Corman ”
Finally, a novelty in the cast of “Mr. Corman ”, a dramatic series written and carried out by Joseph Gordon-Levitt (“500 Days With Her”): Variety announced the hiring of Arturo Castro, who has already participated in productions such as “Narcos” and “Broad City”.
Castro will play the best friend of the protagonist lived by Gordon-Levitt, described as a secondary teacher disillusioned with life. “Mr. Corman ” it will have tones of comedy and drama – a favorable setting for Castro’s work, which moves well between the two genres.
There is still no preview for the series premiere, but we will keep an eye out.
