Kerry Ehrin, series executive producer and writer, spoke with Variety about the possibilities surrounding the narrative of season two, as season one flirted with something very current and real: sexual harassment at work, heavily influenced by the #MeToo movement.

As season two debuts in November 2020 (right in the time of the US election), the Variety wondered if this theme could be part of the plot. Ehrin denied, giving a fairly logical explanation: the script is being written now and filming will begin next; so anticipate something very complicated.

You can't do current politics, so my idea is that if you deal with politics, you deal with political themes. I call it the “adjacent stream,” where you are not historically aging in dealing with a specific thing, but you can take the spirit of what is going on in the world and do something with those themes.

Then we'll see what to see next!
