Apple TV is more popular than Apple Watch and AirPods among US Apple users

Impressive to note the trajectory of Apple tv since it was launched in 2007 to this day: the little device started out as nothing more than a hobby For Apple, it is now one of the epicenters of the company's focus-change strategy, which is shifting to prioritizing services over (relative) hardware. Good, then, that your popularity is accompanying this change.

THE Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) conducted a recent survey with users of Apple products in the United States ie, usual buyers of Apple devices such as iPhones, iPads and Macs. Among the firm's findings, one interesting piece of information is in the graph of “other products,” or secondary devices that these users have: according to the survey, almost 25% of American Ma consumers own an Apple TV.

This makes the set top box Apple is more popular than two products that have quickly hit the Apple charts: the Apple watch (which are in the fists of approximately 20% of Ma users) and the Airpods (present at this time in about 8% of the ears of the company's usual buyers). Of course, it should be considered that Apple TV had much more time to build this user base (12 years, versus 4 of the clock and 3 of the headphones), but still the numbers are encouraging.

Entertainers, in particular, because a large Apple TV user base means a potential large user base for Apple TV +, one of Ma's big moves in the service industry. And that doesn't mean that Apple Watch and AirPods are behind us, CIRP co-founder Mike Levin said:

Apple TV has been available for many years, so we are not surprised that it has reached this level of penetration. Apple Watch has become almost as prevalent as even with fewer years of availability. AirPods and HomePod show measurable but lower penetration rates. AirPods are among the top Bluetooth headsets in Apple's choice of users, but HomePod still beats Amazon Echo and Google Home even among Apple users.

The same research also found that the installed base of iPhones in the US today 204 million. This is the largest number ever obtained by Apple, but represents the smallest sum of new smartphone units in quarters followed by the firm, this is because there are fewer consumers purchasing smartphones for the first time, fewer users are switching from Android to iOS.

Still, we may see a slightly steeper rise in this chart in the coming periods, given the popularity of the latest iPhone models. To be?
