The book, originally published in 2010, tells the story of a student named Lennie Walker, who is dealing with the death of her older sister and accidentally falls in love during the period of mourning.

Apple and A24 are already reunited to produce the film “On the Rocks”, which be directed by Sofia Coppola. It is worth noting that both companies have a multiyear contract, so it is very likely that we will see even more output coming from this partnership in the future.

There is no cast information yet or a possible release date for the adaptation, but at the speed Apple TV + productions are going, we should soon follow up on the project.
