Apple supports anti-bullying campaign with a new Emoji

Anyone who is attentive to each update of iOS and OS X has already noticed because we comment a lot here on the website the amount of new Emojis that came in versions 9.1 and 10.11.1, respectively. One in particular caught the attention of not only fans of Steve Jobs' legacy: the Eye Emoji.

I Am A Witness

The symbol is part of a new campaign against the bullying call “I Am A Witness” (I am a witness). It works like this: after you come across a post from bullying, insert the Eye Emoji it is a sign of manifestation and denunciation. In this way, children and adolescents are encouraged to act at all times. Those who do not have access to a new update can download the application I am a witness in the App Store and participate in the same way.

The campaign was launched by the Ad Council and the symbol, created by Angie Elko and Patrick Knowlton of the agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. Action is part of The Bully Project Mural, last year's collaboration between Adobe, The Bully Project and Behance, which encouraged many people to share their experiences.
