Spoiler: it's very intense.
There are even people celebrating the return of the lines after two years in which they were strongly discouraged by Apple itself thanks to the new policy of Angela Ahrendts, the company's head of retail. Now, with the prospect of low inventories of Ma's new smartphone, people went out into the streets to spend a thousand dollars or equivalent (?) Before everyone else.
Starting with Australia, where the iPhone X arrived first and the most advanced have already put their hands on the device: at Apple Sydney, the queue became the quarter.

In Asia, the situation was not very different: on Apple Orchard Road, in Singapore, the queue started to be formed still on Wednesday afternoon (more than 36 hours before the official launch). At nightfall, store employees organized the queue participants with bracelets and established “breaks” of up to an hour if someone left the waiting and did not return during that period, they lost their place. According to Channel News Asia, some of the consumers stated that they would sell their devices on the internet right afterwards or even sell their place in the queue, “for the right price”.
Moving on to Japan: at Apple Ginza, in Tokyo, and at Apple Shinsaibashi, in Osaka, the line also doubled the quarter or more than one:

In Europe, at least two countries have been banned from launching lines: France and Belgium are discouraging this type of public meeting due to the recent cases of terrorism, as stated by the MacRumors. At Netherlands, however, a small line formed in front of Apple Haarlem:
