Apple stores are expected to gain a more “premium” feel starting in July

Recently we showed here on the website photos of the brand new Apple Retail Store Upper East Side, in New York. It seems that a good part of the aspect “Premium” introduced by it being taken to other stores in Ma, too.

According to the MACBlog, starting in July Apple will begin to make some changes in its Retail Stores. The number of products on display will be reduced, giving priority only to high quality items, and accessories such as cases for iPhones will now be shown outside packaging. These should also be more standardized, always in white.

Much of the Apple Retail Store Upper East Side is yet to remain exclusive to it, including its classic interior decor, extensive use of wood and, of course, its VIP lounge protected by a safe.

It is possible that most of the planned changes are a joint effort between Apple's retail chief Angela Ahrendts and chief design executive Jony Ive. He revealed, in his recent promotion, that he would also start to dedicate himself more to the design of the company's stores.
